Redhawk Reflections on the First American Mission in Europe, 1942
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator heavy bomber was one of the primary heavy bombers of World War II. This is a B-24D, one of the early variants of the bomber with the big “greenhouse” glazing on the nose, which played a prominent role in combat theaters around the globe in the early years of World War II.
