142 FW Equal Opportunity (EO) program improves mission effectiveness by maintaining an appropriate human relations climate that values diversity. EO is the commander's program that assists all personnel and commanders at all levels to eliminate potential barriers to equal opportunity that may adversely affect the behavior, health or duty performance of members or impact the mission.
The EO staff serves as a valuable resource to all members, providing: assistance with problem resolution, referrals to outside resources when necessary, unit climate assessments, Human Relations Education (HRE) training, and information to members who feel they have experienced illegal discrimination including sexual harassment and disparate treatment.
The five protected categories that fall under EO purview are:

The EO Office has limited confidentiality when receiving information on discrimination or sexual harassment.
