The 142nd Fighter Wing is a vital asset to Air Combat Command and Air Expeditionary Force structures, as well as providing stateside air defense for the Pacific Northwest. The 142nd Fighter Wing also participates around the globe supporting drug interdiction where needed, USAFE air defense, as well as contingency operations such as Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom.
